At Orion Health, I build healthcare software and work on identity, integrations and backend architecture. My recent work includes user provisioning with Keycloak, SAML and OIDC, healthcare consent integrations, and contributions to the architecture and implementation of Healthcare Finder.

I use AI based workflows to accelerate my day-to-day work while thoroughly reviewing and owning the produced code.

I joined as a Software Engineer and progressed through Senior Software Engineer, Associate Technical Lead, Technical Lead, Senior Technical Lead, and Associate Software Architect roles.

• Led technical direction across four product teams in pricing, rebates and supplier cost, and managed 26 software engineers.
• Coached engineers and team leads, reviewed designs and code, and helped resolve production problems.
• Worked across distributed restaurant POS systems, cloud synchronisation, reporting, and enterprise platforms.

Healthcare identity and provisioning

Orion Health · Design and implementation

I designed and implemented a unified provisioning solution that creates and updates Clinical Portal users and permissions before SAML or OIDC authentication completes. I owned the project end to end from the design to delivery. A Keycloak extension was built that includes numerous configurations that comply with the existing group/role/attribute mappings for different customer needs. This is a modernisation step towards moving to Keycloak as the main user store.

Pricing Transformation

Sysco LABS · Technical leadership

I led technical delivery for a pricing platform serving 72 operating companies. The team delivered data pipelines and reactive APIs achieving 650 to 800 transactions per second with sub-second latency. The project won the Sysco LABS Engineering Hall of Fame award in 2020.

Enterprise Reports

Sysco LABS · Overall technical lead

I coordinated architecture and delivery across multiple teams for a reporting platform adopted by nearly 7,000 restaurants. I directly led the team’s Spring WebFlux APIs and React frontend patterns.

Customer Rebates Management

Sysco LABS · Technical leadership and team development

I coached the team and helped improve engineering and QA practices for a platform processing more than US$300 million in annual rebates. The team was the first runner-up in the Sysco LABS Engineering Hall of Fame in 2021.
